To get into the very best shape of your life costs 3 things.
These 3 things are a must if you are wanting to feel amazing and look amazing.
I’m including this in my blog as relevance to your well being, life should be a constant state of improving yourself.
1. No Alcohol. I’m going to let this one sink in. Despite everything you read about how alcohol can benefit you, I’ll be the one to tell you that it’s all lies. We’re brainwashed from a very young age over this extremely addicting and destructive drug.
It is poison for the body and the mind. Don’t buy in to low calorie, low carb alcohol. It’s not macronutrients that make you fat, it’s the alcohol.
2. Fasting. Don’t listen to fad dieting in regards to restricting certain types of food. For example the no carb keto diet. Carbs are brain food. Throughout history of humanity, we go through periods of fasting whether it’s for religious purposes or simply because there’s no food for a certain amount of time.
Start doing this a couple times a week and it will guaranteed results. When you wake up in the morning don’t eat anything until lunch except for water and coffee with NO sugar! Then eat lunch and dinner normally.
Try your best to eat healthier whole foods, there is plenty of information on that. It’s fairly easy, no calorie counting. It took me a year to lose 40 pounds so don’t think its quick.
3. Exercise. I left this one last intentionally. You cannot be healthy if you drink alcohol every day or most days of the week. You cannot out exercise a bad diet either.
There’s plenty of information out there on exercise but if your new start small. Exercise at least 3 times a week. It doesn’t need to be hours long. Trust me, if you work really hard you cannot do more than 30 to 40 minutes per workout.
I suggest weightlifting but if you don’t have access to a gym then pushup, pullup, and air squats it’s going to be.
Start with what you can do easy if you can do 5 push ups then do 5 wait 30 seconds and then do 6 wait 30 seconds then do 7 and on and on until you can’t do anymore. Rest for 2 minutes then go back down. Start at 7 then wait 30 seconds then go to 6 and on. This works for pushups pullups and squats.
These 3 things don’t cost any money.
In fact you will save money, by not buying alcohol, and not eating as much food. Don’t complicate things with trainers and strict dieting. Good luck men!!
